Family is a huge part of what we do here at Pure Canine. We believe that dogs are an essential part of every family, and that a calm, safe and gentle dog is something that everyone deserves.
Ste: “I’ve always had a love for dogs from an early age, and always felt a natural connection that made it easy for me to understand and communicate with dogs. Being around so many dogs as a child and having so many experiences, I witnessed from a young age that a dogs behaviour can very much be influenced by our own actions and natural behaviours.”
Rescue at the heart of what we do. Because rescue needs to be better.
Sadly the rescue system is completely overwhelmed and as a result each day 100’s of dogs are euthanised, often at no fault of their own. Many of the biggest organisations routinely Euthanise dogs for issues that are absolutely resolvable - and many prospective owners end up with dogs stuck in the ‘revolving door’ of rescue because they were given incompatible dogs or not made aware or supported with the issues their dogs were facing.
We wanted to make a difference. So we made it our goal to help as many people and dogs as we could, to try and reduce the amount of dogs re-homed or put down, and ensure the right guidance was at hand to help owners understand their dogs needs, work with them safely, and strive towards a calm, fun and loving life together.
